After forming in 2001, Big City Rock quickly put together a strong set and began to make a scene in Los Angeles, California. Three years later, with handful of pop songs that belong on heavy radio rotation, a sound that could fill up a stadium, and a live show that commands attention, Big City Rock is preparing for huge success.

Big City Rock released its' first EP in February 2002, featuring the songs "Elizabeth" and "Where Am I." Excitement surrounding the group grew in late 2002 when they made a video for the song "Do You Know What You Want," directed by young talent Aaron Fjellman. The video made its' debut on Los Angeles based show Refused TV, and blew away viewers with its' sleek look, quick cuts and explosive performance.

In Late 2002, Big City Rock began playing supporting slots in the largest Los Angeles venues, including a sold out show with Phantom Planet at the El Rey Theatre and many sold out shows with Rooney at places like the Roxy and the Palace.

In June 2003, Big City Rock released its' second EP, featuring "Do You Know What You Want," "Human," and "Here For Each Other." To celebrate the event, Big City Rock headlined a sold out show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. A West Coast tour of sold-out dates with J Records band, Maroon 5, followed in the fall of 2003.

Big City Rock is currently recording and playing shows on the West coast. A media/press kit is available by e-mailing bcr@bigcityrock.net.
